Leyland URC Scout Group was first formed in 1932 as Leyland Congregational Scout Group (Leyland Congs as we were known).
Our group badge shows The year established, Leyland Cross, the sign of the fish with URC inserted, and a ring of hands signifying scouts around the world.
The Group takes Boys and Girls from the age of 5 years 9 months.
Beavers – 5 years 9 months to 8 years
Cubs – 8 years to 10 years 6 months
Scouts – 10 years 6 months to 14 years
Young Leaders (Explorer Scouts) – 14 to 18 years
Adult volunteers
